One Of My Most Productive Days

Greetings to all of my lovely readers! All of us have days in our life when we are extremely productive, extremely lazy, extremely bored, or there are just those eventful days and you go like, “WOW! I did so much work!”… Today was one such productive day for me. I love being productive and strive hard to do so. But, some times, laziness creeps over me like a soul of a demon possessing me, and I lose my will power.

Today was a normal school day, thus, as usual, I woke up at 5:45 A.M., all shivering and cold. I felt very sleepy at first, and thought that the cold would make me feel lazy. In fact, what happened was exactly the opposite. The cold made me feel alive and fully awake. I brushed my teeth, took a bath, dressed up, did my hair and all of a sudden I remembered I could swim in school today! We have P.E. periods twice a week. (P.E. stands for Physical Education, which is basically our sports/games period). We all have to choose at least one sport and I chose swimming, because that’s what I love to do. Most people don’t wanna join swimming because then they’ll have to shower, change, etc. in the limited time that we get.

So, off I went, and our first two periods were Math. I like to do Math in the morning, because then, you have to use your brain a lot in the morning which makes your day very nice and productive. And that’s exactly what happened! As soon as the bell rang, I rushed to the swimming pool and changed into my swimming costume. It was so cold, I shivered. As I entered the pool, I got goosebumps. I was the only one in the pool, but, I kinda liked the fact that I had the pool to myself because it felt so peaceful and serene. It took about two minutes for me to adjust to the temperature of the pool, but then, I was fine. I learnt how to do the arm-movements properly and also improved my breathing technique.

The next class was Chemistry for me. We leant a lot about the atoms and their structure. Right after Chemistry, we had a college fest at 11 A.M. Dartmouth, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Rochester, Longwood, Iowa were a few of the universities that had come to do their presentations. I pretty much liked every university a little bit, each for their own plus points. I collected a lot of brochures and asked a few questions that I had. We had lunch right after that and then we had Epistemology followed by English. I have two tests tomorrow, thus, as soon as I came back home, I began preparing for them. In the evening, I did cycling for about forty minutes. I had a few incomplete notes that I completed right before making this blog entry and now I’m blogging… 🙂

Phew! I’m tired… But, I also had a lot of fun today in trying to be as productive as possible.

Happy Blogging! 😀

  1. Sounds as if you’ve had a great day. I think waking up in cool weather does have a positive effect. Of course who likes to leave a warm bed, but once you’re up it feels wonderful.

Your schedule is amazing, but I think much of it is your positive attitude. So wonderful. And you are thinking about college? Great. Generally speaking what do you want to focus on as a major in college. Math related, science, writing? If you’re not sure that’s okay too. 🙂

One question: What is the Epistemology class you mentioned? Is that a philosophy class? Do you talk about how folks gain knowledge? It sounds interesting. Or is it terribly boring! I hope not. 🙂

At any rate, I hope you have many many more days like this one. Good for you!

    And thanks for sharing.
